E Gabriel Edvy

is an American-born, London-residing multi-media artist whose work focuses on the materialisation of the ephemeral and metaphysical. Utilising a multidisciplinary approach which combines the elements of science, sound, photography, film, chemistry, analog/digital methods, and physical art, her process is methodical whilst embracing unpredictability, and hovers in the tension between control and chance.

She holds a BA (with Honours) from Columbia College Chicago in filmmaking, and her work has featured in many music videos, album covers, exhibitions, festivals, and magazines. Gabriel is one half of the experimental audio/video research group Sequencial AVR, and the current visual creator for Clock DVA.

Gabriel is also a published photographer and the owner/Head Director of Blackswitch Labs, a production company specialising in music video and installation art.
